TonyBurgers

TonyBurgers is a local burger joint that does beef right. They use three cuts of meat for an amazing flavor combination. You could probably just get the beef patty on the bun and still be amazed. And the fries…oh my goodness, the fries. Over the years we have tried all their burgers and have NEVER been disappointed. And if you can handle it, get a milkshake, too. The raspberry milkshake is truly wonderful.

Rodizio Grill

The Rodizio Grill is a Brazilian Steakhouse that was founded in Denver in 1995. It was started by real Brazilians, so they have that going for them. Since then they have expanded to twelve states in the United States. Two of those locations are on the Wasatch Front. One in Provo and the other in Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake location is in Trolley Square, which is unfortunate for them because that place has been a ghost town for years. When they first opened it was delicious. Some places just seem to get tired after a while and it seems as if they just stop trying. Since they aren’t the only Brazilian Steakhouse in town anymore we thought they would try a little harder to keep us coming back. Listen to this episode (click below) and find out how we really feel about the Rodizio Grill.

Bumblebee’s BBQ and Grill

Bumblebee’s BBQ and Grill is a Salt Lake Valley local establishment that gets it. They serve Korean-American fusion that works and is deeeeelicious. One side of the menu leans to the American side and the other side to the Korean side. But trust us when we say you will enjoy either side. Kimchi? check. Burgers? check. Fries? check. But make sure you try the out of this world K-Pop Fries.

Flame Burger, Salt Lake City, UT

Flame Burger, 5430 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT

Our first review is a burger joint called Flame Burger. It is located at 5430 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT, 84117. They don’t have a website (who doesn’t have a website today?). Maybe they don’t have a website because they are putting all their energy into making delicious burgers for us. We really enjoyed our dining experience at Flame Burger. The burger was good, fries were good and they even brought an after-dinner mint to our table!! We would both return to Flame Burger and recommend it to you, too. Click here to check out our Facebook page and become part of the Snooty and Slackjaw community. Sit back, and enjoy the Snooty and Slackjaw show:

UPDATE: unfortunately, this Flame Burger location has permanently closed. Sad, but true. Check out the many other locations we recommend or you can take your chances, but whatever you do let us know about your experience.

Introducing Snooty and Slackjaw:

Hi, we’re Snooty and Slackjaw. We’re ordinary dudes who love to eat. We especially like to try new restaurants and tell people about them. Snooty is the foodie and loves to cook, tell other people how to cook and critique the cooking at restaurants. Slackjaw is Joe Lunchbucket who doesn’t get too adventurous with the menu. We’re going to share our experiences, good, bad and otherwise with you, so you know what you’re getting into before you walk through the front door. Worried about where to take your girlfriend on a first date? Don’t leave it to chance, but take our word for it. Need to know where to take your team for lunch? Listen to us. We won’t steer you wrong. Of course, you need to take everything we say with a grain of salt, because we are not you. You have your own taste preferences and death wishes. Our point is to encourage you to get out there and try some good food and support local businesses. Occasionally, we’ll try a chain restaurant, but we prefer local fare. There you have it; us in a nutshell. Go forth dear reader/listener and have your bold food adventures.
